SIJM was subcontracted for the engineering aspects of a roof car and rail system on an existing building. In addition, we developed a complex lifting plan for this equipment and prepared the accident risk management and control program related to this lift (blind lifting of the load at a distance of 45 m from the crane pivot point, up to the 30th floor of the receiving building.
SIJM conducts inspection of granite wall integrity for buildings of more than 5 years. We provide an engineer certified report, with recommendations and solutions for repair interventions.
SIJM designs, manufactures, installs, certifies and maintains roof cars and rail systems for window cleaners as well as light facade maintenance work. We are usually involved very early in the project design with the architects and engineers.
SIJM works with show designers (snowboard, downhill skating, mountains bike) to design and certify temporary or permanent installations providing access at height and the protection against fall from height of competitors and workers.
SIJM Consulting Engineering works in window washing systems, permanent or temporary façade access, certification of temporary scaffolding, crane structures and structures resistant to seismic loads. We also assist show designers in protecting workers, spectators and equipment against falls.
